The 3 Revolutions, Random Manager and A3Thinker!

Hello my friends. Today I’m going to share some news. I’ll begin with giving you the English version of a presentation I first introduced in Italy for the opening keynote of the Italian Agile Day, the most important Agile conference in Italy.

As usual, I illustrated all the slides using mostly ArtRage, storytelling techniques and, more importantly, a great deal of brain/hand coordination ;-).

Things in my world move fast.

I co-founded and, regrettably, left Random Manager.
Although the project has great merits and we quickly created a great group of loyal fans, the work turned out to be just too unbalanced for me and began affecting things I value the most.

One of the first values Vasco, Mark and I agreed upon was: “We are friends above all. If it stops being fun, we shouldn’t persevere.”
So I drew a line on sand and decided I’d rather stop now and maintain our friendship.

Above all, I believe we often struggled with communication breakdowns.
There is no doubt, however, that it has been an extremely valuable experiment.
But don’t worry! Vasco and Mark will continue the project on their own and I’ll advise them from time to time.
Please join me in wishing them good luck!
If fact, you will end up with even more options as I’ll setup an e-commerce section here and, in time, I’ll continue from where I left.

So, during these months, I helped clients in their Lean & Agile journeys, I setup e-commerce websites and experiment boards, I designed products, learned a lot about apparel printing, appreciated what it means to truly “delight customers”, improved my drawing skills and even learned a bit of animation!
I decided to develop my artistic skills and I have great intentions to continue to do so.

But I also explored the application of Lean Startup principles to organisational change and further developed my (and my latest clients’) critical thinking skills.

I wish I could say I’m wiser. I won’t. I stress too much over little things.

All I know is that I’d have lots to say about my latest adventures and explorations and, as always, my website can’t possibly catch up with me.

One more thing…
As I’m writing this, Xcode is open on my other screen as I’m less than a week away from submitting to Apple my A3Thinker iPhone/iPad app.
Yep, the wait is almost over!
